REDDING BABYWEARING FELLOWSHIP
Helping Caregivers to Keep Their Children Close in the Redding, California Area
About Us
Redding Babywearing Fellowship (RBF) is a group for caregivers of small children trying to learn more about safe babywearing and different types of carriers, ask questions, and simply enjoy the company of other families. RBF serves Shasta County and the Far Northern California area, because sometimes it is as hot as Mordor here and you just have to drop that ring into Mt. Doom. We are an all volunteer, 501(c)3 federal non-profit organization with the mission of promoting babywearing as a universally accepted practice through education and support. We currently have one meet up each month on a Thursday and one meet up on a Sunday. Check the ‘Upcoming Events’ section to find the time and location for each meetup. Both caregivers and children of all ages are welcome! We have an extensive learning library of carriers that are available to try, and to borrow for dues paying members. All meetings are open and available to the public whether you are a dues paying member or not.

Membership
Our meetings are always free and open to the public, but in addition to trying out the learning library carriers at meetings, our members are also welcome to take home one carrier per month. This is a great way to try before you buy a carrier and an affordable way to include an extra carrier in your routine.
Events
Our meetups include our learning library of carriers available for anyone to try out and support in learning how to use them. You are also welcome to bring your own carriers and get help from our experienced volunteers. Sometimes a small adjustment makes a carrier much more comfortable and that can be the difference between giving up on babywearing and success. The meetings often include older kids who have a nice play date while the adults talk babywearing.
